Shariah Fatwa

Assalamu Alaikum

The Shariah Supervisory Board (SSB) has reviewed the principles and contracts relating to the transactions and applications introduced by the Iman Insurance Program. We have also conducted our review to form an opinion as to whether the program has complied with Shariah rules, principles, specific Fatwas and guidelines issued by us.

IIS LP Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that it conducts its business in accordance with Islamic rules and principles. It is our responsibility to form an independent opinion, based on our review of the operation of the Iman Insurance Program and to report to you.

Our review included the obtaining of all the information and explanations considered necessary, in order to provide sufficient evidence to give reasonable assurance that the program has not violated Islamic rules and principles.

In our opinion the contracts, transactions and dealings entered into by the Iman Insurance Program during the year 2010 are in compliance with Islamic rules and principles.

We pray to Allah Almighty to grant us steadfastness, to continue to review this companys transactions diligently.
